Declaration on accessibility

The transnational cooperation Environmental Information Systems (VKoopUIS) manages the project LHP-App Meine Pegel under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy Management of the State of Baden-Württemberg and strives to make its apps accessible in accordance with Section 10 (1) of the State Disability Equality Act (L-BGG).

This accessibility statement applies to the app Meine Pegel version 2.1.4 and higher.

1. state of compatibility with the requirements

Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, this app is partially compatible with Section 10 Paragraph 1 L-BGG. Important aspects of the barrier-free design were considered, including:

• Sufficient contrast according to WCAG/EU 301 549 for text and controls
• Font size adjustment possible via system settings

2. non-accessible contents

a) The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons: Incompatibility with paragraph 10 paragraph 1 L-BGG

• Graphical controls are not labeled at the code level (WCAG SC 1.1.1).
• Input fields are not linked to the labels at the code level (WCAG SC 1.3.1).
• Control panels are sometimes smaller than the recommended minimum size of 9x9 mm. In some cases, there is not enough space left between the controls (WCAG SC 2.5.5).
• The states of some elements are not conveyed (WCAG SC 4.1.2).

b) The following content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation:


• The present app uses map applications. The information provided via maps may not be available to all users. According to the current state of the art, map applications cannot be implemented completely barrier-free (compare exception EU Directive 2016/2102, Article 1, Paragraph 4d). However, we are endeavoring to offer alternative forms of access for the information conveyed via the maps in the future.

If the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector does not respond to your request within the period specified in Paragraph 8 Clause 1 L-BGG-DVO, you can contact the State Government Commissioner for the interests of people with disabilities within the framework of the contact the ombudsman function described in Section 14 Paragraph 2 Sentence 2 L-BGG and Section 15 Paragraph 3 Sentence 2 L-BGG.
